Alterations and extensions to a dwelling on Cleiy Rhenniee estate.
This proposal is to provide a new family/dining area for an existing dwelling. The client wished to replace their existing conservatory with a contemporary extension.
The proposal utilises lots of glass to bring light into the space, but because of its solid standing seam roof, excess heat is not lost as it would be in the existing conservatory. There are also two 'eos' flat glass rooflights to allow more light into the space.
The proposal is very different to the usual extension to a dwelling on a housing estate, with the contrast of styles allowing the extension to be read separately to the existing dwelling.
Indicated are the existing and proposed floor plan and elevation, alongside renders of the proposal placed into the site.
Awaiting planning approval.
