Proposed replacement dwelling at Fairways, Clifton Road, Port St Mary.
This site is located on the southern coast known as “Clifton Road” in Port St Mary and previously accommodated a dormer bungalow which has since been demolished. The proposed replacement dwelling is of a modern design and comprises a single dwelling designed with two levels of open plan living accommodation with a central entrance and stairwell. Both levels have access to an integral garage.
The dwelling is constructed in a “Maple Supa” floor, wall and roof panel system which provides high thermal values and speed of erection on site. A natural external stone finish is proposed to the ground floor level with a painted render system above at the first floor level. The upper floor level is provided with high vaulted ceilings.
The front, seaward elevation, is designed with full height feature windows and an external balcony to take advantage of the coastal scenery.
Indicated are the approved Planning Drawings showing the Floor Plans and Elevations, together with a site photograph showing the original dwelling and 3D Render of the proposed replacement dwelling.
A feature on Fairways appeared in 'Manx Life' Magazine Issue 3.
